AYE ADAI, MR. BILL, YA CAN'T BLAME THOSE NURSES FOR SAYING IT LIKE IT IS!
Ken Wetmore had Lillian Posadas and another nurse on tube news last night. They spoke candidly about how mistreated the nurses were by the pharmacist, Robert Winegar.....
It seems that Mr. Winegar's feelings were hurt and his family was hurt because of the report......ahhhhh, and the things he said to those nurses didn't hurt their feelings? KUAM reports:" This morning Winegar called KUAM News, lashing out at the nurses over the phone.
When offered to do an on-camera interview Winegar accepted, but when we arrived at the Hospital, it was that agency's administrator, Bill McMillan, who did speak. "This is an internal issue here at the Hospital and I don't want my lieutenants fighting in public," said McMillan, which we accepted, but then reminded him that at this point, his "lieutenants" are doing just that. "Well, you and I are talking here and they're not going to talk to you today," the administrator said."
You see, they don't want to fight in public because you can't control what truth comes out in public....when the truth comes out in public, you have to fire the person that's the 'wrong-doer'.....this vinegar dude has had so many complaints against him that I've lost the count of pages and he's still on board...
Even though he claims that he never said anything that would hurt the feelings of any nurse he said. According to KUAM, "He claimed that he has documentation of the nurses' incompetence and said the nurses need to learn the Hospital isn't a social gathering place to eat meals and put on make-up. Winegar said he didn't know if the local nursing school just wasn't producing a good product or if the foreign-trained nurses weren't up to standards, but said nursing supervisors needed to do more to ensure their staff were making patient care the top priority. "
You see, it's always someone else's problem, never yours. It's the school's problem that nurses are incompetent, certainly if their foreign-trained, they aren't up to US standards, it's the supervisor's fault. It's never his fault.
Me thinks this man needs a quick trip next door....mental health...they may just have some pills for the man that his pharmacy may be out of!
Could it be that this person is the very reason that the OB/GYNs don't have the meds they need that supposedly aren't released overseas? I used to think that it was a 'local' thing to 'cover' for a 'pare' or 'mali' but now I'm thinking.....'covering' is no longer a local thing!
Why is it that one never hears a peep about the privately-run pharmacies? What are they doing right? Could we take lessons from them? I bet there's a manager or two that can get a long with nurses from UOG or the PI that'll work for less than $167,000 and have thicker skin!
