C/P EASY TO FILL GOAL(EXCUSE THE PUN) FILL THE POT HOLES
It's the craze! We're all looking for the worst pot holes to fix so that we can have our favorite speaker spend that $10K to fix it!
"Am I being silly, you ask? Not really. Potholes on Guam are a current issue being addressed. Even had a poll of the island faithful to determine which pothole deserved the most attention by DPW. Well, Guam isn't alone. NYC has a few more than we do. At least they've been busy filling them. Even the mayor. Felix has filled how many? Carl never did. Why? He put more emphasis on private driveways. I drove the back road to Navy hospital again today. What a rough ride from Carnation Road towards Andersen's back gate. And I gotta drive it again tomorrow back to Navy hospital. I drive it so I can avoid the STOP and GO (mostly STOP) traffic on Marine Drive and also avoid the drivers whose sole purpose is to agitate and increase my BP.
MIKE DIGS IN VS. POTHOLES

Mayor Bloomberg yesterday personally filled in the 600,000th pothole to be repaired since he took office more than three years ago.
Wearing his trademark tasseled black loafers and a rain jacket, the mayor shoveled hot asphalt into the hole on 70th Avenue in Glendale, Queens. "This is something that I've been preparing for all weekend," Bloomberg joked, alluding to news reports that he fled the city to spend the weekend playing golf at his vacation home in Bermuda.
The city has gotten 42 inches of snow so far this winter — way above the annual average of 21 inches, making it "a rough winter," said Transportation Commissioner Iris Weinshall. Most of the potholes that were filled this winter were in Brooklyn — 29,793. Manhattan had just 13,012 potholes repaired. "
Gads, can you imagine our Felix out there on Marine Drive or Killer Drive with a shovel and some hot asphalt? That would be the day, huh?
