IT ISN'T MY NAME THAT MATTERS LADY, IT'S YOUR HUSBAND'S LIFE THAT SHOULD MATTER!

Don't shoot the messenger, heed the message!

A lady commented on my comments about the fat cops. I thought about the cops as I included them in my nightly prayers and with all the thoughts of death surrounding Shiavo and the illnesses of the Pope and the King of Monaco, I thought about how it would be if one of those cops died and I thought that I could have included that instead of having pall bearers they could have hired fork lifts from East-West Rentals and I pinched myself because I was supposed to be in a prayer mode and my mind shouldn't have 'gone there' so I focused extra hard and said extra prayers that maybe my cutting words would reach either the cops or someone who loves them, enough that they'll take steps to make healthy lifestyle changes so that they can live longer. So lady, don't be angry because I'm not Geraldine Ferraro or Angelina Brown, it shouldn't matter to you. What should matter is that your husband lives a good, happy, long and joyful life. That is what God has planned for you. The changes in body size is what we have planned for ourselves...plans that we can change.
Body weight in relation to over eating is so important that it is included in the seven deadly sins...known as 'gluttony', ironically, 'anger' is the other....

dont be so defensive. You were dead wrong on that one. Nothing wrong with complaining to you - as you always complain. You were paying respects to the cops - and in the same breath - absolutely insult them.

Well you are still using your "soap box" to preach huh? As the saying goes..."if you don't have anything good to say about others...." You include "cops" in your nightly prayers, which leads me to believe that you are a Christian. but yet, you turn around and make your thoughts ("I thought about how it would be if one of those cops died and I thought that I could have included that instead of having pall bearers they could have hired fork lifts from East-West Rentals and I pinched myself because I was supposed to be in a prayer mode and my mind shouldn't have 'gone there' ") written down in your comments. Such a hypocrite. You say one thing and then turn around and do another. Whether your fat or thin. Old or young. It is ultimately up to God to decide who dies. Time and time again has proven that being "skinny" or "in shape" does not guarantee that you'll outlive the "fat cop" at all. You are just mean. ("Body weight in relation to over eating is so important that it is included in the seven deadly sins...known as 'gluttony', ironically, 'anger' is the other....") What does "anger" have to do with this conversation?
