Congratulations to Nita Elayda from Rota who knows about where the words come from, some of them coming from Greece and France or Germany and for the listening skills...or the skills of how many times one can ask questions or how many times the words can be repeated...congratulations for being able to quiet the demons and the butterflies in the stomach that wouldn't be still as you stood up there on the stage alone to face the pronouncer and the judges...what a brave twelve-year-old you are and how proud we all are that you'll represent us when you stand before the nation.
Congratulations to Jamie Delacruz and Sara Munn for your hard work. You are winners as well. It is a rare group that can add, subtract, multiply and divide without a calculator and a rare group that knows the route from where the words came that one can correctly spell without the help of a spell checker. Be proud of your rare talent!
