Sonny Shelton....to me, he wasn't complicated. He was just a man who wanted to live and let live, like and wanted to be liked. When we die, there's a God that will do the judging so I'm not going to judge Sonny. I'm not perfect and have friends who are. Sonny was that kind of friend. He knew you when he ran into you at he, talking about the greatest book he's just read. When he saw you, he asked about your family. He was a mere mortal. He lived for his family and no matter that he was in the worst time of his life, Austin attended college and made his father proud as did Amana. It showed their father that they would be able to care for themselves and care for their mother as well. I will miss my friend and shall aways miss how good I felt about myself after I walked away from him. God Bless you, Sonny. But know that you left enough love to keep Graciella and the kids wrapped around in your love until they're called to heaven.
